ADO Den Haag
The Hague is an important city, being the seat of the Dutch government and the International Court of Justice. It is also home to the King of the Netherlands. Its city centre is more open than many Dutch cities and does not feature the narrow network of canals often seen elsewhere. However, in contrast to this, there are also many green, open park areas.
Much travelled Alan Pardew is now the manager of ADO Den Haag, a perennial mid-table team who play in the modest 15,000 capacity Car Jeans Stadium, a little way out of the city centre. It is a tight stadium that generates a good atmosphere. There is not much around the ground, so best to eat and drink in the city centre before getting on the tram/bus.
