City in the north of Belgium just ten miles from the Dutch border. Antwerp’s diamond district sees around 85% of the world’s diamonds pass through it annually. Its railway station is considered one of the most architecturally beautiful in Europe and is a sight to see in itself, which can’t be said of many stations. Transport links are good, with Brussels less than an hour away by train and Bruges just an hour and a half.
Royal Antwerp FC are the oldest recognized club in Belgium and play at the 16,000 capacity Bosuilstadion in the north east of the city.
